Reverse Calling (Pay For Me)

What is it?

Reverse Calling (Pay for Me) is service which allows a caller to make a call without airtime, transferring the cost to the receiver. This service ensures that communication is not hindered due to financial constraints, making it particularly useful for emergencies and urgent situations.

Key Benefits:

· Reverse Call Allows users to make calls without worrying about airtime availability.

· Allows for communication during emergencies.

· Keeps those fun conversations going.

How it works

Zero Balance Call Attempt:

When a user with zero balance attempts a call, an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) notification provides options to initiate a Reverse Call.

· Receiver Consent: The receiver is notified of the Reverse Call request and can accept by pressing any key or reject the call. If accepted, the call connects, and the receiver is billed the approved Out of Bundle Calling rate.

· Receiver Positive main Account Balance: Receiver should have a positive main account balance, the call does not deduct from bundles.

Short code request:

· Initiation: The caller prefixes the recipient's number with short code 164(e.g., 164712xxxxxx or 164263712xxxxxx) to request a Reverse Call.

· Receiver Notification: Upon answering, the receiver hears an announcement about the Reverse Call and can accept by pressing any key or decline the call.

· Charging: If accepted, the receiver incurs the call charges at standard rates; if declined, the call disconnects without charges to either party.
